Gulf War Mod

Any luck with your PC? In addition, we might need to hold off on making the XML files because I've found that my SDK base has several critical errors that need to be removed first. If I can't figure it out soon, we'll just use TTT as a base. K?

TTT is currently getting redone. I am completely redoing the units, and tech tree so a lot will change and be improved a lot.

Only two that are really imporant are the Unique units and unitclasses sheets

Also Asaf has helped to remove errors from my SDK and also came up with a debug DLL so it should be a lot more stable.

Up to you what you want to do but if we stay with gulf war mod being seperate probaly going to need to upload it another way
 
It is just really a matter of which mod is most stable/has the features we want when we get started. Right now, my SDK is not so stable, but has tons of features yours does not. We'll see what happens though.

I haven't made any buttons for the mod yet. Britsh or Canadian version? I believe there are two skins.
 
I spoke too soon. I'm still having problems fixing asserts and found two CTD. Looking for help still on how to fix all of them. Got some so far, but a lot more are still left.

On other news, I've added all the buildings I think we will need. Changed/Improved the art/buttons. I even found a new mod: I like to call it the Lifepreserver Mod. It is from ROM:AND. If you have cargo on a transport there is a 25% that a unit may survive and swim to shore. I added a message sound to it and put it in my IIW Mod.

Because I have a X1650 Pro, and with the ATI legacy drivers I got tons of crashes in different games (not Civ4 though, but I always played on low settings; that might explain why Oblivion, which also uses the Gamebryo engine, always crashed).
The inofficial Omega drivers fixed that problem for me, so might also be worth testing for you.
 
Sorry can't say I've played it. Its been years since Ive sat down to play another persons mod. I play modern Alliances here and there (mostly checking for bugs, issues) but beside that I dont play cIV that often :lol:

I do kno that when I load IIW it says something about my graphics and automattically adjusts it to low graphic settings. This is weird and I have no idea why. Mods that are way bigger (including Modern alliances) and have way more art I do not have a problem but for some reason cIV feels taht my graphics need to change when loading IIW :confused: Its weird to because when I unload the mod it automatically switches back to high:confused:
 
I never work with low settings, just high so I might be wrong on this.

On low doesnt it only show one unit? If you have a unit that has several different unit arts in it, and it now only shows one of them, then the others might be the problem.

Or when on low it shows one of each?

There's a separate option for that.

What do you mean "borked"? One of the models is messed up?

Yeah, that. But like said, it's just a thought.
