Yeah while they are at lets give the whole week of hannukah off, black history month off, asian history month off, and all the other monthly celebrations off!

Jewish holidays are already offical state holidays in New York.

Then again, New York pretty much has the highest non-Israeli concentration of Jews in the world.

I think people should be excused for their religious holidays, no matter how small their religion is. Other than that, no!

What about all the fake religions that people make up to get around restrictions? I have friends that make up incredibly fake religions (spoken in chinese for "authenticity") to fool the school so they can get food delivered to them instead having to eat cafeteria food.
