Everyone who wants one probably has one by now... Or you just don't post enough so not that many people have actually had a chance to read your sig.

Nothing wrong with that. I would much rather prefer to have 1GB for free then 250 or 100MB for free. :p Gotta get rid of these invites. They could have at least waited till I got done with the ones I already had.

People with disabilities would rather have a working interface than more space.

i have a little over 4200 he hasover 5000 and I was down to two before the refilled my invites. So posting is out of the question.

What the **** is wrong with Gmail...

I set it to use my nickname, hbdragon88, and it keep using my real name when sending out invites It's sending emails with "(name), (my real name) has invited you to open a Google mail account" when I'm specifically telling it not to. I don't want people to know my real name. I think I'll stop sending invites if it continues to do that...

Yes, I have set it to only use my nickname, yet it continues to use my real name when sending out Gmail Invites (not for regular mail).

I have one, but never use it.

I also could not offer invites but after I disabled Norton Internet Security and reloaded the page the link worked.
Oh and I should be thanking MarineCorps.

Well you can still use invites. Just send them to your self and copy the link and send it to them in a PM. :)

Can someone please tell me what-the-*bad word* is an 'invite'? (regarding Gmail)
Why do people want to get rid of them? What benefits you having more of them, or less of them? What do they do?

Invites allow people who have gmail accounts to invite people who don't have gmail accounts to create them (i.e. bring more people into it). They want to get rid of them because, in most cases, they've gotten so many of them that they've given one to everyone they know that would want one, and don't want the rest to go to waste.

I think maybe what Gmail may be doing now by giving so many invites away is trying to get everyone who would want an account in before they make it generally available to the public (i.e. without an invite), so that the rush is lessened when they do open it up.

Gainy - Wet get $5 every time we get rid of our invites. If we have 5 and then they fill us up back to 6, we've just lost out on a possible $30, whereas the quick person go that $30.

Thats not what I meant, I was refering to the current rate of posting and where those posts are. A few posts in the same sub forum is unlikely to be read by as many people as posting lots all over the forum.
