Yes, which is why I think the "decisive decision" part isn't all that important in evaluating the success of a cybernetic system, since our own nervous systems have a tricky time passing it, and a cybernetic system can be easily be designed that places the organic portions in a servile position while still meeting the standard of "decisive decision."
It seems like we need a better standard for judging a cybernetic system.
I don't get it. You seem to agree that condensing multi-dimensional advantages/disadvantages into a single dimension of preference-ordering is "tricky". So, then what do you propose? Any of the ways I try to read the rest of what you say, it comes out weird and unbelievable. Please re-explain, perhaps prefacing some part with "I know this will sound crazy at first but...", if appropriate.
