Having a slight problem at home. Twice within a month, the harddrive on one of the computer has crashed. And I don't mean that windows crashed, the hdd actually physically broke. I've never heard of this problem before, and nobody else I spoke to either, so it can't really be a coincidence... We had it in for support, they fixed it, and a month after getting it back, it crashed again (while backing up info. ). Anyway, the support aren't very supporting, they'll do the same again, just change the hard drive, but I'm curious if anyone else knows of problems in the computer that would cause such problems? I was thinking maybe the fan doesn't work properly and it gets overheated, someone else suggested it could be the motherboard doing something funny...

Well, does anyone have an opinion of what could've caused it, or are we just that unlucky? Even if they fix it now, I'm gonna have a hard time trusting that computer with important information...

A while ago I had a problem with my hard drive but that was due to the power supply. The power cable was a little loose, so I just picked a different one and no problems since.
