Here is my next model of beloved airplanes:) - Heinkel HE 111,the primary Luftwaffe medium bomber during the early stages of World War II. The HE 111 design run through series of modification , in order to improve it's characteristics or to fit it to special purposes. I made a model of HE 111 E1 version, which can be distinguished from others by the shape of its gandola and tail ( for more info follow this link - Heinkel HE 111 at Wikipedia )
How i plan to reshape the model to produce another version of this plane -HE 111 H3 , that has slightly different fuselage and also a gunner dot under the gondola, and think to attach to it a V1 flying bomb, color will be be changed toomaybe camo or silver.
The model is animaned just as regular ingame bomber with all corresponding sounds, the only thing that still dosn't work is propeller. I spend a lot of hours trying to make them spin, but due to unknown problem i didn't succeed, though with fighter all went nice. The model is about 1200 polygons.
Update And now, as i promised comes another modification - HE 111 H22, the one with V1 flying bomb. In game, i think this airplane may have longer range and more powerfull attack comparing to HE 111 E1. I attached screen of both aircrafts from top view to show the difference . You may notice that H22 has slightly asymmetric nose, that's not my fault, it's just as it was then. The model of HE 111 E1 is about 900 polygons, HE 111 H22 -1200.

Note: as sharick suggested, to avoid overlapping, i'll announce on that models i work at the moment. These are units supplied by Paasky -B17 Flying Fortress, BF109, Hurricane MK II and Gladiator. I got finished models, i just need to map them.

How could this work ingame? Probably with a loadable HE-111 that can carry just one V1, that would be awesome! Having a double range through the V1, but using the HE only it would have normal range. Sounds like a difficult job in python, hopefully somebody can figur that out.

BTW great job again!!:goodjob: You're also getting better by each model!
 
thats is very cool but can u make a more known plane like a bf 109 or a stuka?

Yes, great idea ! the only problem , i think, is what we need SDK to implement this. Till when, probably all we can do is just to increase its range and destructive power.

Thank u for your offer. it will save me some work if i use your model instead of making a new one. Just i'll have to "lighten" it a little , overwise the polycount will be unacceptably large. Will your u send me your model please to navtil@bezeqint.net ? Thank u in advance. And, just curious , does it a coincidence what u nick means small sphere in russian or you knew it when you picked your name ?

Your works are great, and I use some in my mod (not that model, but Churchill, both AA guns and armored car).
What do you and other unit-makers think about creating a 'Luftwaffe Mod', collecting all thematic units in one file?

@AndyTerry - I'm just a humble unit maker not mod creator. I don't know XML and I don't really like that stuff. There is somebody working on putting all units together but not Luftwaffe specific.
 
Can any one upload the unit creator program, like the one in the picture?:confused:

Is there a way to get the He111H22 model WITHOUT the V1 bomb? I just want the "H" bomber without the buzz-bomb!

(no, I don't want the older E/F model).

Please help?!?!

Thanks again Refar... your fix did just the trick... but...

I found an error that seems to be with the original model (and ONLY effects the He111-H22 model, it does NOT occur in the He111-E/F model).

It's almost impossible to explain via text, but I did quadruple check the XML, redownloaded the files, checked both with and without V1-Buzz Bomb and checked BOTH varients of the He-111... it does NOT appear in the He-111E/F model but DOES appear in the He-111H model (both with and without V1), so it would seem to be a problem with the original H model.

As short as I can explain it, there's something wrong with the propellors on this plane... it "blocks out", or rather "sees through" the plane when viewed through the propellers, in the form of two perfect squares... I've never seen this on any other model, even the other He-111 is just fine, but this He-111H model (both with and without V1) has this problem...

Can this be fixed by someone... anyone? Why only with this model? No other plane has this problem, even the other He-111.
