I'm useless at building my economy early please can someone give tips? or point me to an article?
Help on building economy in classical, medieval period

Try to found a city in a spot with lots of food resources, and lots of flat land (plains, floodplains, grassland). Work the food tiles for food, and cottage everything else. It would be nice if this city also had one, or perhaps two hills just to help you build commerce buildings.
ONLY build commerce buildings (market, grocer, bank) in this city, as it will likely not have much production ability. This city will then become extremely profitable.
This concept is called "city specialization". The city I've described to you is called a "commerce city", and the excess $$ from this city will help to balance out your less profitable cities.

At levels monarch and below, you have 2 good choices for building monster economies ...
1. The Bureaucracy cottaged capital. Make sure to get an early great scientist for an academy in the capital. Have the capital build as many cottages as possible. When you can build Oxford University in the capital. After worker techs, beeline to Civil Service for Bureaucracy capital bonus.
2. Settled specialist super science city. For specialist economies, run lots of scientist specialists and settle them in your highest food city. This city should always run as many science specialists as possible (unless growing, or needing production). Your super science city will have an academy, all your settled scientists, and oxford. Ideally, get the Pyramids and run Representation early. Can be as good or better than 1.
