Help! Virtual memory problem

Every time I try to log on to my new computer I get a message saying that the computer is low on virtual memory. What the hell is going on? I can no longer even log in. I also today got a message saying that windows can not verfi something. I forget what. PLease help.

Virtual memory is a part of your harddrive that is used to simulate extra RAM. So this might become a problem if your HD is nearly full.

Nope. Had a worm on our computer. Had to wipe the hard to drive clean and reinstall everything. Including windows.
