Help wanted from civ1 veterans

I just got civ1 after big break and now I dont remember anything from it. So could someone explain things what I can´t get from civilopedia. And some basic things how its different than civ2. I´ve played civ2 since it came. So...

I am back. My last exam is finished. After I did it, I went ahead and formatted my harddrive and restarted everything now. I managed to cut down the boot time from 60 minutes to about a second... for internet explorer, that is. Anyway, yes I'm back. Within the next week or two my strategy guide will be up at my section, complete with cross-referenced links, lots of pictures, and possibly some animated shots and downloadable save-game files to demonstrate some of the concepts.

Shargon, if you want to understand the game, you might want to check out the military units charts, and become familiar with what units are NOT in civ1 that are in civ2, and then read the manual.
