Hey what's the orange stuff?

Another challenge...how many diferent civs can you sort out in minimap?

My count is 9. The green and yellowish green look like 2 different Civs.

More orange stuff in this pic:

Dunno, I think you guys may be right, it does look more like pollution, with it covering the railroads even.
(BTW I also like how each city has a port/airport symbol depending on what it has built)

And while we're here discussing the new images, what in the world is this?

I'd have to go for the "What's the big picture?" option ;)

hmmm..

xoque, that may be some kind of 'age' transition pop-up. Kind of like a throne room/palace acomplishment thing.

Well it may be pollution-but i really dont think so-In the second picture shown the orange stuff is only around 1 city-and it is 8 pop small that some of the others, and in the 1st picture it is also around only one city. So maybe it is a resource-maybe wheat, or some other resourse we havent seen yet.
SINISTER

Whoever put that orange stuff on the map better clear it up themselves...

I think it is either iron ore or vomit.

Have you noticed on the first orange stuff screen the orange oval at the top left of the info window (th one with English democracy...)? That may be the symbol of global warming??

There are other dots in the map. It's surely a resource...maybe gems or something.

If you look at the city of York, you will se that there a dot next to the "Y". The dots must be part of the unit. Each time there a dot, there a unit next by. It must be a caracteristic of the unit of some sort

Dots on the workers must mean they are on some duty, maybe a special order?

The orange smear is probably some vile toxic pollution!

Maybe it's a Tang spill.

If it is pollution, at least it's visible!

Well I would guess that its orange because its pollution from the Orange Civilization.

Ruh ROh!!! Look at that fearsome-looking pink armor that the french have hovering near the english border! Sorry, but thats gotta be the gayest color for any civ to end up with
:rotfl:

It's more of a purple shade, really. And I really doubt those communist English will care once they're dead.

oh, and could that 'orange' stuff be fur? it kind of looks like that.. cept that the color on that monitor makes it look more orange than you would think fur would be. I dunno, just a guess.

Ohhhh man, that's BRILLIANT. I so have to do that now, thanks Curt!

Fear the Pink Germans!

Do we know if Civ3 has any chemical weapons?? Those could be clouds of mustard gas!

Barring that, I'd say it must be pollution.
