Hi I never played a pbem, but I would like to play against others than the stupid AI. So if you need players, I'm on.
I am still trying to re-start a PBEM of my StarWars Insurrection which got stalled when one of the players could not get his Civ2 to work. If you guys are interested, please indicate so.

DoM, I would love to control the independants in your game. there is however a very small problem. I will be away from friday to sunday, so I won't be able to play then.
Germanos, I thought about a pbem with the scenario: Pre-WW1 Europe. It has the six great powers, and the independants. It begins in 1901, but I dunno when it ends.
Kobayashi, sorry, but I don't like science-fiction, and I have never ever even seen a Star Wars movie. So, I don't think this is the right scen for me to pbem. I would have no idea what is going on. Sorry.

I'd like to join the Star Wars PBEM if we can get it started again. Should I post in the old thread or start a new one to avoid confusion?
I think a permanent sticky that lists all the currently running PBEMs and who is playing who would be a good idea. You could either have one person keep the top post edited to date or have a person from each PBEM have their own post in the thread. When a PBEM is over or dies a mod could delete the post for that person in the sticky thread or if it is only by one person he could edit it out. What do you think about this? It would save time IMHO when looking for players for a game after it is started or trying to keep track of games.

As for the star wars insurrection, I downloaded it and took a look. Like most guys here I only watched the movies and that's it, but I do know civilization, and the combat/building concepts are still the same. I also suggest that we start a new thread, and there we can decide who plays what. I'd probably like one of the two empire civs, since they are easier than the republic and I am new to space scenarios, but I really don't care.
