Up in the highlands of Ethiopia, the Kingdom of Aksum grows and prospers with the trade routes through the red sea. As the Ethiopians adopt Orthodoxy as their religion, and their kingdom matures into an empire, their civilization will eventually grow to stand as a strong bulwark of African hegemony against all outside influence.

How many cities in foreign area did you end up controlling? I am amazed you didn't get killed by the expansion stability penalty

I think at the very end, I was approaching 15 cities in foreign area. But that's one reason why I opted to do my conquering only in the last 20 turns or so, I was thinking about my foreign stability possibly getting out of hand. I did stop researching techs in the last 15 turns, when I took over the rest of the colonies on the continent. But I never saw my foreign expansion number be that much higher than my core population number.
