So, this mod contains some units by aaglo that were only ever available in this package. At the time, I believe we were prohibited from using these elsewhere, but now it's abandonware. Aaglo is gone, Historicanada is gone, and Bitcasters is gone. Can we crack this open and use it's parts? There's some interesting stuff in here.

So, after some digging it seems that the Historicanada developer said go for it, so I'm gunna go for it.

Well, I didnt specify it to install to The conquests > Scenario folder. I did that last night, and it turned out something like this. C> Program Files > Atari > Civ3 Complete > Conquests > Scenario > Civ 3 complete > Conquests > Scenarions... In the screenshot I posted, I installed it directly...

Edit: When i have a chance I'll pull them out and toss them in a zip on the database. I'm fairly certain they're not already there.

Interestingly enough, there are several pediaicons for unused from what i presume would have been the second and third scenarios: the Amercian Revolution/War of 1812 and westward expansion in the 19th century. Sadly, these units are not included and are likely lost to history. There was some interesting stuff, different from aaglo's usual fare, including a native American warrior on horseback with rifle, a Gatling gun, and a Mountie.

A couple years back I was combing the assets outlining a Native American unit line and was devastated to learn the Métis rifleman wasn't actually in the roster. It's hard finding Industrial/modern units in NA flavour that don't lean into stereotype.

Yeah, we have a bit of a Eurasian bias here, I think. I hope Aaglo has them sitting on a hard drive somewhere, and, you know, he's alive.
