So what's the appeal of NES? I don't think I've ventured to that corner of the forum. I guess it sounded too much like some kids' fantasy movie.

Chess. My days as an active player are mostly behind me, but I like analysing openings and classical games.
History. That is supposed to be my work, but recently I became an ungentleman of leisure...
Music. Limiting myself to listening, I have in my possession some 5000 CDs with so-called classical music. I am fascinated by great music by forgotten composers and forgotten music by great composers.
Uncreative writing. Mostly articles about chess for local magazines. Right now I am in the middle of a rather ambitious project about Paul Morphy. If it will ever be finished, I might try to get it available for a larger public.
