HOF Wishlist

I just noticed all the nice graphs and stats.
How long they have been there?
Very interesting.
Minor quibble : points\games should be based on number of games in table I Think...

The most interesting graph is the one with submissions/week.
It says better than words how much your work has revitalized this place!!

Some since the new website went live. There will be (and has been) periodic additions done with occasional updates.

I'll leave that up to Dianthus. That table is unofficial as far as I'm concerned, and the statistics area is his "playground".

REVITALIZE? We are way past revitalized, the current Hall of Fame is more active than ever before. I appreciate your thanks, but I can't really take that much credit. I wouldn't have had 80 games posted in the update if players hadn't sent them in!

Is there a way to add a timeline/writeup to an already submitted/published game?
Currently the only way is for me to manually edit the database. I was thinking it might be an idea to let players change the writeup URL on the "My Submissions" page, but I keep playing with graphs instead ;).

I second Gyathar's desire re latter editing in of a witeup URL. I think it would be preferable to tying up HOF staff with requests for manual edits to the database..., and it may encourage more participation in writeup threads, which would be a good thing.

Now I think you are being way too modest. You (and the other HOF staff) have been instrumental in this revitalisation by encouraging new blood into the HOF through your encouraging attitude, and in generating interest through this new competition. Take some well deserved credit! :goodjob: :hatsoff: :hatsoff:

I, for one, started playing Civ3 again after reading about the Quartermaster's Challenge.
I've only ever turned in 4 HoF games, but have 8 that are in process since the announcement of the QC. So hats off to the HoF staff for making the challenge much more interesting.

Personally I have played and submitted 4 games the last 4 days.. only need large map and space + histograph now for QC :p
QC definately has made me play and submit types of games i would not normally play :)
