Homefront II: Lords of War

Europeans don't use biological weapons! :p

Ok, got how I want to update now.

Diplomacy's Open.

To: USA
From: UFN

Reconize us as a semi-automous region for the time period (In which we'll work out full intergration back into the states afterwards) and we'll help you drive out the invaders.

From President Radcliffe of the USA
To UFS (UFN?)

At this time, we don't see a reason to back the UFS. Especially as a military arm of our own nation when it comes to retaking the rest of the continent. Since our trade center is on the other side of the nation (not pictured yet), the distance costs alone would destroy any sort of trade revenue we could receive with trading with your small, poor nation.

Is it possible to attack Bermuda?

OOC: Not until the TE is kicked off the mainland. After that, they'll regroup at Bermuda where you can launch a costly assault against them and send them packing to Europe. Same with the PAU and Hawaii.

Does it cost anything to attack with armies? Also do we get a free one?

*evil grin*

And to make this conversation not entirely ooc, Carolina offers trade rights to the United States of America.

Mr Paul assumes the US is still alive?

From USA

President Radcliffe smiles, "Sure. Sure. My Secretary informs me that a trade agreement would net in us both a cool $14 a month. Now, if you want, we can certainly start off with a one-year trade deal. (12 months before expiration) and extend it when the time to renew comes up. How's that sound?"

OOC: The Triple Entente and PAU, as per the terms of the USA's surrender, have the ability to move troops and trade through USA territory. As such, players can also trade with the PAU and TE.

Ron Paul offers his hand to shake on the deal, smiling.

ooc: How much money do the Asians and Euros make per turn? Also how long is a year in game?

Also, you weren't kidding when you said the world economy crashed. A buck can buy a helluva lot.

"We make $35 a month domestically. Sure, the economy collapsed but we're still the largest producer in the region." :)

X-post edit: A year is 12 turns give or take. Asians are making only $12 a turn but start at tech level 1 like the Euros so when the economy is doing "bad", they'll start building factories and become more active like the other NPCs. Euros are making $28 a month.
