Hi! So, I've read in Civilopedia that horses are found in Grasslands, Plains and Tundra. However, I've played hundreds of hours of Civ5, but not once spotted them on Tundra. Is this just me?

I've seen horses in areas surrounded by Tundra, but they're always on small patches of plains (often alongside a river).

i think i have seen them on tundras. if you try some settings like Cool Temperature and low sea levels you'll get more tundras and you might finally get to see one in a game if you want to just start -> tech animal husbandry -> restart until you see it.

there might be better settings but that is one combo i know i used and saw lots of tundras and brown forests approaching some snow areas.

I thought once I found horses on tundra, but my advisors were wrong, they were sheep.

But still, my Mongol sheepriding-army won the game. :)

Seriously, only saw 2 horses on a tundra tile ONCE! In 1300 hrs of gameplay. But they do exist, just very limited.

I've seen as many horses on tundra in Civ5 as I've seen in real life. I think there should be a Santa Claus option, where you can use reindeer as labor animals.

I've tried different settings now, and it seems that horses appears on Tundra when I play the Earth map. But none of the others. It's a bit weird, if you ask me.
