I want to conquer a city placed on one-square island... is it even possible?
Ships cannnot attack a city and unit cant attact from ship.. how can I make it?
Thanks in advance

The Japaneese conquest has the sam archer as amphibus.

Nuke the crap out of them then request it in exchange for peace they are much more willing then.

If he could nuke them, then he'd already have the Marine unit so he could attack from sea.

Always research Amphibous War, how else are you going to use Marines.

I never find myself needing marines. I actually think I've never even built them in C3C. The only game in which I happened to have a one square enemy city to conquer, I happened to be the Vikings...

Never had that problem, I'm the vikings half the time :D , the other half I'm Sumer.

Me too, never reaseach many non-needed techs

Marines are improved in C3C - if you use them attacking from the sea, they get a 2x attack bonus. So instead of 8 attack, they get 16 (IIRC). That's great for a archipelago map!!

I thought that marines attacking from the sea just negated all terrain and city defense bonuses? :hmm:

ROFL..............

he meant, BEAT the crap out of them, then they'll probably trade that city for the peace.
