How can I support Israel?

I am getting so freaking angry with the militant muslims around Israel who refuse to cease their terrorist tactics. I am not going to go over and join the Israeli army (I don't even know if I could as a Catholic).

Can anyone tell me of any legitimate causes I can contribute to? Organizations I can donate money to that will go to Israel?

My advice: before you send money to something or someone, try and be sure of the real deal behind the story. If the only info you get is the one found in US medias, you might want to find different sources of info and different views on the topic, while keeping an open mind, before you start investing in it

besides that, I think it's great that your willing to put your moral values into actions. Many people whine but few people act... even though my opinions on Israel/palestinia differ from yours.

Edit: Whomp's post was full of truth, for a starter. the goal is not to point out who is the bad guy and who is the good guy, because there isn't, it's to be able to see things from both sides.

It's obvious that everybody is more concerned about "poor" Pals (who have their uncles and aunts living some 20 miles away of Israel) than about "aggressive" Jews (who have no place to go other than the HISTORICALY Jewish Israel).
