Once i download a file where do i put it?

It depends on the file you downloaded.
Scenarios or complete modpacks should be copied into the folder Civ3/conquest/scenarios

First of all, you put this in the right forum, not the Completed Scenarios sub-forum.

Each scenario should have its own instructions, but if you can't work it out you should ask in the scenario's own thread. The Scenarios forum is for completed files only, so general questions should be asked in the Creation & Customization forum.
