How do you pronounce "Gif"?

I think that the whole C/K division is Latin's fault. If they'd just adopted the Greek K and left it at that, we'd have been good. :p
 
If people are doomed simply by adopting some Greek letters, what does that say about those using entire Greek-derived scripts or those belonging to the Greek Rite? :p
 
to be fair Bulgarian is a convoluted mess of tenses. there's like 8 categories for verbs, so make your conclusions
 
dot-gee-aye-eff, obviously. I don't pronounce the CIA as the "cha" either.

No really, hard G, but reading this thread I found myself subconciously reading it as a soft G inadvertently. stop affecting my internal pronounciations!
