How Do You Silence The Foreign Advisor?

Arg! I know exactly what you mean! Once you get 1 of each, she complains about having only one! If you have more than one of each she still complains! RAARGH! :aargh: She should make more of the useful comments, like which countries need what resources.

I think that finding the AI's weakness, like lack of a certain resource is part of the game. I mean if i can choose between fighting someone with iron or without in the early middle ages i choose the one without even though that civ might be like 1.5 times bigger. Though i agree she does give away useless info and its not hard to find out what resources they lack if you know where to look. hehe
:p

A funny thing about the foreign advisor is that he usually used his "happy" face to tell you about diplomatic dealings inbetween AI civs; this incudes alliances against you.

And once when I tried to do propaganda with my spy, the foreign advisor was happy to report that our spy was killed.

I think it stems from missing the personalities of the advisors from CIV2. I know it's goofy but I miss those guys, especially Elvis.

"Excellency, we are the most enlightened empire in the world! I salute you!"
I'll take that over a socially incompetent fool who has the facial expressions of a three year old any day.

Inca: Blaargh! We hate you! If you don't give us steam power we will declare war on you!
You: No deal.
Foreign Adviser: :run: Holy crap! The Inca declared war on us! Where did that come from! Did you see it coming because I didn't!
