How early u have build nukes

Just intrested. I usually get nukes on 1960 or something. Other early inventions would be nice hear too.

I usually have all the tech by 1750 and have maxed out the future tech to the point of producing bugs by around 1935.

I usually finish the game too early and don't get to build units such as stealth fighter and nukes.

Even if I have the ability to build the Manhattan Project early on, I won't build it. I don't need my competition starting an arms race that I don't want to start. Don't like nukes in any way.....

In our last game we tried to avoid nuclear war. For a long time all civs could build manatthan project but noone did. As soos as Viks discovered rocketry, i saw in 3 consecutive windows : they discover rocketry, they start to build MProj., they have nearly completed MProject. The next turn they had completed it.

How can u avoid a nucear war in these cases ?

( BTW, the following war was very funny and we won it. Emperor level )

in diety games i play, no one even dares ot build project. its kind of funny. just sits around. i use it to help buy spaceship parts, especially in occ. yoiu NEED a wonder to finish on time, in most cases.

what id like to know in occ is how people build colossus before 2000bc!

maybe another good forum idea is the one city challenge?

Since I'm peaceful and giving

and really don't enjoy having nuclear attacks on my own cities I don't build the Manhattan project until the discovery of the Laser. I usually don't use nukes anyway because of the pollution. Way, way back, in the days of Civ I, I decided to see how early I could get nukes. I started at the easiest level, chose the Aztecs and played on Earth.

I got nuclear technology just before 0AD. I got nukes shortly after that. I quit the game without actually going to war. I just wanted to see if I could do it.

yea a world were you can use nukes that early may have many problems later!
espesily if that tec fall into enemys spy hands!
