How long did civ 2 multiplayer games last?

one session of a couple of hours then you could never get the players together for a second session

I've actually been wondering about this too. Everybody is screaming for Multiplayer, but how would you play such a game, it would take ages!!!

I also dream of one or more human opponent/conuterparts, but waiting for four or six (maybe even more) other players to finish their turns would be a terrible drag, especially once everyone reaches modern times.

Would be kinda neat to exchange trades and blows with real and intelligent players though.

MP Games require great dedication.
You need players that will show up everytime at a certain time to play.
You most likely won't get done with a game in one session.

It all depends on settings, if you play a 2x2x small map duel you should have a winner in a couple of hours at most.

Also, laddergames seem to have a higher % of games being finished due to the fact there are points to be gained or lost.

But stop by the zone sometimes and check it out for yourself, we can always use new players
