Yeah, they were chemical weapons.

Anyways, what the heck kind of answer is that? Is this the new Godwin's law? If someone makes a claim to which you disagree, rather than trying to say what you find wrong, just say "Yeah, and there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. :rolleyes:"? I mean, what the fetch?

You obviously didn't understand the humour. I was cleverly saying that what you were saying is wrong.

I am serious poster. This is serious thread.

So, you concede the point, then?

Yeah, and there were weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. :rolleyes:

Put up a random picture. It's worked for everyone else.

What about a relevant picture? Like one that demonstrates why some posters' points are being laughed at?

Although that was a very pretty tree.

Just because America is split into several plates and Europe and Asia aren't, does not mean to say that Europe and Asia are more similar to each other than Northern America is to Southern America. That is to say, just because Eruope and Asia are on the same plate does not mean that their geography is similar, or less similar than that of Northern America and Southern America.

I'd say Africa-Eurasia, America, Australia, Antarctica. Of course I was taught otherwise, but I like defining continent just as a damn large landmass that is separated from others by oceans.

BTW, is Antarctica larger than Australia?

Us New Zealanders like to refer to "Australia" in this sense as "Oceania". Thanks!

I don't think all of the world needs to be included in the continents. So Japan, Britain, New Zealand, Madagascar etc. are not part of any continents in my opinion. And I also thought it was way cool that every continent started with A. :D

Seven continents Post 8,000 BC(roughly):
North America
South America
Europe
Asia
Africa
Australia(Oceania)
Antarctica
8 Continents 100,000-8,000 BC(roughly):
North America
South America
Europe Asia
Africa
Australia
Antarctica
Atlantis

And also, I can guess that you're Unitedstatesian by how you have split America into north and south. If Europe is in Asia, there is a snowball's chance in hell of being a "North America", considering the fact that it is just a part of America. I suppose it's just USA narcissism.

You're not even coherent enough to be worth arguing with! Europe and Asia are on the same continental plate. Not so with North America and South America. It's not about "geographical similarity", whatever that is. But if whatever the hell you're saying makes more sense in your kiwi head, don't let me interfere.

Fear me you lords and living creatures. I descend upon your Earth from the skies. I command your very souls you unbelievers.

I'll take you to the Seven Seas of Rhye.

+10 awesome points to those who know the song.

Of all the ironies to beset me, I'm listening to this song right now!

There is a clear distinction between North and South America, if you're combining those two, then you'd have to accept Eurasia, if not tack Africa on there.

I'm not coherent? When you people speak you're incoherent. Or perhaps you would say "discoherent" or make the word more complicated and cool-sounding with a word like "counterantidiscoherentionismization" or something.

4: America, Eurasica, Antarctica, and Australia
