There's this "screaming" tradition in chat. When CivGeneral comes in you go: "CG!!!!!" and if Bootstoots comes in everyone goes "BOOTS!!!!" Why you may ask? We are all mental patients who have been allowwed computer for a few hours.

FWIW, the original "name-shouting" was patterned after the old television show Cheers, where everyone shouted Norm Peterson's name when he entered the bar.
