How to download and load modpacks in civ?

My only question is how to download mods and play them(for Conquests)

Most you down load and unzip into the Scenario folder. You then start a game and select from Civ_Content.

Each mod *should* have installation instructions in their thread.

I'm not sure wher to post this question so I'll post it here. But every time i load a mod i get some sort of pediaicons error message. What am I doing wrong?

There should by a file called pediaicons. You must copy-paste that into your conquests/text folder.

Now that would be the thing to do wouldn't it. I'm a little stupid lately. And I didnt copy the pediaicons for one of them, silly me. Thanks

Download it, extract it, open the folder 'Scenarios', cut, paste, take the game file (BIQ file) and paste it on its own in the scenarios folder, open it (it opens as the editor), press 'Alt-Enter', look for the box that says 'Scenario Search Folders', and type '..\scenarios\*****' (*****= name of mod folder). The mod is now ready to play. Start the game, click on the button that says 'Civ Content', click on the mod, and, finally, play to your heart's content.
