how to launch a Spaceship after building it?

I have a problem launching the space shuttle. I have built every one of the ten components required, but I can't find the command to launch it. I've looked everywhere but I can't find the command and in the Civilopedia when I click on a link to "space race" it just says "invalid entry." How can I launch my spaceship and how do I get to the screen that informs you which elements have been built and how far the other civilisations have evolved in the space race?

i have the same problem... the thing is that i checked all the boxes in the begenning for any type of victory... then russian won the DIPLOMATIC victory and the score stopped there... anyways my civilization and the other civs continued building the spaceship, and i finished it first, .... the screen where u see the spaceships and the parts was avaible until i created the last (the 10th) part of the spaceship... after i created that last part i wasnt able to see the screen to launch it...

I think it was because i lost the diplomatic victory and the game stopped there... of course i clicked that i wanted to continue my game, but im sure that i wasnt able to see the screen of the spaceship nor able to launch it because the game already finished when the diplomatic victory happened.

After searching around a little more, I found that other people have the same problem: if someone has achieved a victory (diplomatic cultural, whatever) or if it's past 2050 you can't launch the damn thing anymore.

One of the function keys will bring up the space ship screen.

F9 or F10 i think

F10 brings up the space ship screen but after a victory it doesnt work anymore..

About this...

I was totally dominating on one of the easier levels trying to get my score up so I built the UN. I accidentally clicked the option to "vote now" and suffered a humiliating defeat. I reloaded the game from a previous turn and started working on the Space Race only to find that I couldn't win after building the 10th part!!!

So I started a nuclear holocaust instead...

BTW, unless you have a spy in the rival's capital you will NOT be informed of their progress with their SS. You will not even be told WHY you lost if they launch before you!

Since Espionage STINKS you may NOT be able to get a spy in that capital despuite repeated tries. I consider this a bug. And a big pain.
