All righty, everything looks good.
Pre-turn: Alexander, god-emperor of the greeks, immortal sovereign of the earth, and all-around cool guy leads his people to the promised land. No one is sure where the promised land, since map making hasn't been invented yet, but the Great One vows to run around exploring, since his great speed will allow rapid exploration and easy escapes. He won't be around to keep his people in line, so the use of the luxury slider may prove neccessary.
1. 4000 B.C. Alexander goes north, worker south. No cows, but the sugar and a newly-revealed wheat that our first border expansion will get. Found Athens immediatly. Set research to max on Pottery. Start building Warrior.
2. 3950 Alexander explores, worker begin irrigating.
3. Alexander spots another river running through our lands-our potential for growth is ridiculous.
4. Alexander sees some spices.
5.
6. Athens Warrior->Warrior. Send warrior East
7. Maximize Athens for growth, grows in three, warrior in 8 (for now)
8. Pottery now due in four-someone else must have it now, unlesss the newly built road providing +2gpt really had a huge effect....
Alex spots Tundra to our far north. Most of the land is very nice below that, and the Tundra hopefully contains Oil. Eastern Warrior pops hut (yeah for monarch huts!) and we get Cermonial Burial.
9.
10. Athen Warrior->Barracks. Cultural border expands, start working the wheat. I'll get around to irrigating it. Alex the swift spots a hut, silks. Not poping huts with our king.
11. How many roads must a man walk down, before he is truly a man?
12. Pottery finishes, start Iron Working. Given the scarcity of strategic resources in conquests, we must locate Iron early especially if we want a conquest victory (or go for an archer rush, but we have yet to encounter anyone) Athens swithes to granary,.
13. Athens riots. I am such a moron. Lux slider up.
14. dada-dum
15. Alex sees yet another hut. Warrior exploring to our south spots multiple wheat, ordered home for either MP duty or northern hut-popping. Eastern warrior has reached the coast and is now moving south.
16. An alien race of unimaginable power attacks, but they all get strep throat and die. You would think aliens capable of intersteller travel armed with heat rays would know what antibiotics where, or for that matter how to keep their war machines air tight.
17. I'm running out of ideas to waste space on.
18. Athens MM'ed for max shields, granary in 8 (it will complete much faster, obviously, once it grows again and starts working the other forest square.
19. Walkin' in a winter wonder land.
20. Granary due in 5.
Summary: Greatt land, still haven't seen any neighbors. Once the granary is done, we can start pumping settlers like crazy, and move from their. We have an awful lot of land, apparently all to ourselves for the moment.
Question: Hooray, how do you get snoopy's terrain to work in Conquests? The only was I can get it is through the 'civ content' menu in PTW, even though I dl'ed the new version. What folder do I extract the new version into?
