Weird though just popped into my head, but I thought it might stir up some discussion.

Will "Human wave" attacks differ now with 1upt and hexagons?

Yeah I agree, what do you mean by "human wave", do you mean the normal strategy for humans which would be buying tons of units and then (using correct terminology) "Steam Rolling" the opponent.

I think this is what he means

well if that is what he means i saw a screenshot, i think from azazzell, where he was absolutley swamped with enemy units around his city.

heheheh, and Azazell was playing on Prince  Lost several times

What I mean is this

Giant death robots are basically kill-bots right? And we know that kill-bots have a pre-set kill limit, so Giant death robots should have pre-set kill limits. So therefore, I could defeat the giant death robot by sending wave after wave of riflemen at them! This is easy with SOD, but how easy will it be for 1upt?

Not sure what you mean by pre-set kill limit . I don't see why it would just blow up after killing X number of units (unless it is actually overwhelmed at some point), that would be the most terrible military design ever invented ("Sir, we just designed a massive mech with enough firepower to destroy half the known world by itself, but you have to be carefull about using it because it grows a conscience after 100 kills and self destructs")

The only thing GDR's won't shoot at is themselves.... unless they are looking particularly hostile, so no spamming unit after unit will just feed his unsatiable hunger for blood.

His point is actually a pop culture reference ;)

Speaking of pop culture references...

Giant Death Robots do not sleep. They wait.

Giant Death Robots can believe it's not butter.

Giant Death Robots can divide by zero.

That was in "The Big Book of War", wasn't it?

I guess you could still perform human waves by spamming low cost units and sending them en masse towards enemy lines but it's costly.
