Humour and what's funny

*youtubevideo*
Somewhat amusing to me.. I feels like it would've been more fun if you were familiar with the characters. This lacked context imo and I didn't get all the words either... "That crack is really moorish"??

Is Polish humour cruder than US/English?

I'm not sure.. Overall, I don't really think so, but I think that cruder humour is a bit more accepted, yes. The best way I can explain the difference between Polish and Canadian humour is that Polish humour is sillier.. but that's not really a good way to explain it.. and I'm not really an expert either, I mean.. I haven't been in the country for a while now.

or was he spamming/flaming or whatever.

but I think it was troll humor

I resent the implications! I'm an honorable and upstanding member of the community! I have the right mind to report every last one of you and let the moderators - or even the administrators (ha! Not so high and mighty now, are we?) - deal with this. But as a Christian, albeit an atheist Christian, well, not so much as a Christian, as a civil and upstanding member of society, I'm just going to turn the other cheek. Hrmph.

Ah Peep Show. It appears that British humour is either weird and inane (Monty Python, Shooting Stars) or cringe worthy (Peep Show, The Inbetweeners). Or, in the case of the IT Crowd, both. I prefer the former kind.

Yeah I tried to get a completely context-less moment of Peep Show, but obviously you can't escape it. I advise you to watch all 6 seasons. The funniest part of that isL "Just a bit of crack" - LMAO. Moorish means tasty and you cannot stop eating it.

The video was quite funny, I laughed quietly for about 3 seconds.
I think it's quite amazing how different humor people have. Some people like toilet humor their whole life, while some stop liking it when the grow up, someone like seeing other people get hurt, some people can make jokes about what others find disgusting, like babies and minorities, and some people just don't get irony. Humor also changes through history, some TV-shows etc. from some decades back aren't funny at all now for many people. I've also heard that in the far East, they don't understand irony, is that true?

I don't know. I think that there's a universal sense of humour, but as people mature and develop a better ability to anticipate, the humour needed to make the person laugh needs more complexion or a better twist. This complexity is perhaps based in culture to some degree. Both familiarity and surprise is needed for a good laugh.

Prank phone calls that manage to make the "victim" give an inappropriate response make me laugh.

I knowyou won't understand anything, but this comedian (Nilton) just cracks me open with laughter when he says "eu amo você" (I love you in Brazillian Portuguese, although this show is Portuguese from Portugal) and people (like this "victim" start insulting him really hard).
