Awesome turnset CH! I really like how you thought out your builds and we're in a GA! Can anyone say conquistadors? The only builds I might disagree with are the wonder in the capital and the library in Frozen Tundra. Copernicus seems a little expensive to build and the library may not increase science enough in Frozen Tundra..
What does the rest of the team think? Are we ready to take on the Ottomans?

@CH there's a regent training game being led by Bede. Would you be interested in playing that game too?

Tundra may be ok for a lib, but Austria is more problematic. Why did we not leave someone to stop any founding on that island or have some culture in Valla to have covered that land.

CH, I would strongly suggest you use either F1 at the end of turn or Civassist to be sure to avoid disorder. You want to not have the loss of production.

Some of the towns will need either more lux slider or another lux or specialist now that they are size 9 or better. They have no temple or markets.

I am not sure why we have so many harbors on the new land. I guess it is because we did not close the gaps and get roads. I am not fond of making harbors for the fun of it in places that do not need to use coast and won't be able to build boats. One for the contient is enough.

I would also wonder about making MDI's at this point in the game. I am not a fan of them. Knight are better and can become calvs. MDI will not be anything, until the game is in the bag.

They cannot kill musket reliably, nor calv and have the same defense as a spears. IOW they are going to be chewed up on defense and move too slow.

Hey - was that a wonder triggered Golden Age I saw in Chuckchi's log? Cool...

Those Crusaders can be pretty lethal in a combined arms stack...

760 AD: Gunpowder discovered. Research set to Chemistry. Invention traded to Iroquois for 8gpt and 63g (all their gold). Engineering traded to Egypt for 16gpt and 79g (all their gold).

770AD: Seville completes Library. Set to FP.

810 AD: Chemistry discovered. Research set to Metallurgy.

820 AD: Education traded to Iroquois for 80g and 19gpt (all their gold).

850 AD: Metallurgy discovered. Research set to Military Tradition.

Fairly uneventful turnset. Main focus was on consolidating. Getting the FP online, Courthouses and Marketplaces up. Draining the accoutns of the opponents and maintaining a four-turn research rate with a bit of deficit spending.

Nice going PB. BirdJ are you ready for some action? We could wait till after cavs but I'd rather get to the Ottomans before they get sipaphis.

I just pm'd PB.

lurker's comment: Also, are lurkers who already played a lurker set allowed to play the lurker set again?:D \

EDIT: Might I ask, such a SG should have pics, shouldnt it?

Got it , thanks, PB.

I have a work related crisis that will prevent me from playing for a few days. Please will a lurker pick up the slack and play my turns to keep the ball rolling? Thanks.
