Hey all. I've been out of the Civilization loop for a long time, but lately I've felt like playing these great games again.
I bought Civilization IV shortly after its original release, but never bought the expansions. I've looked at their various features (as well as their immense moddability) and think they're too good to pass on.
Should I buy Warlords and Beyond the Sword standalone, or is it better if I just buy Complete? Do I miss out on anything if I buy Complete, such as the original physical game manuals or any posters? I still have my Civ4 techtree poster, but maybe there's some other goodies from Warlords and BTS that I'm missing out on. I'm a stickler for "wholeness".
I'd also like to know of the Complete edition is simply a repackaging of all the original discs or if it's a totally different application that may have compatibility issues with older patches. Is this so?
Anybody willing to enlighten someone who hasn't played in a while, I thank you.
