I played my first game with Tecumseh. Buying Deluxe gets you that content now; I bought Deluxe.

Founders will include more content too be shipped later (like Sept). I don't know what they will charge for that content then.
I may delay buying the additional content, since I don't think I will have played out all of the content I have now.

I have played every Civ on release since Civ 3. I am ready to go, just looking for any opinions, thanks!

Depends on if you want the goodies really. The 5 days of early access has past so now it is all DLC in the future. I don't see $30 as a steal. Unless you want Tecumseh, I would buy basic and save some money. There is a lot of game to sink your teeth into here without it. Waiting to see what you are actually buying with the DLCs would be my recommendation. We need patches and time to learn the game mechanics anyways.

Edit: I mostly bought Deluxe to be able to play this weekend and hope the DLC is worth $30 when all is said and done.
