I am concerned because feature X will be different from in Civ IV

I demand that Civilization Z be included in this game, dispite the fact that they have never built a large empire or significantly contributed to the world's cultural, economic, or political landscape in any major way.
Actually anybody who really understands world history and the true meaning of the word Civilization knows that Civilization Z is far more deserving of a place than say, the Romans.
After all...what have the Romans ever done for us?

The moment they made it isometric in Civ II they sold out to flashy showiness! If it was up to me they'd make Civ V in ASCII graphics!!

You have not truly played a game until you have played it in the original EBCDIC.

Feature X caused me no end of trouble in civ4, but feature Y is going to be terrible, I just know it, they should return to feature N in civ2 then it will all be perfect -

Meanwhile, this new feature Z is awesome but it won't work if we don't also have feature W! Furthermore, I will under no circumstances by this game if it includes feature A and/or does not have feature B

You guys are just as bad as the Americans. Who the hell is Z?

Calithumpia at it's height had huge tracts of land, Almost 10 football fields. And how could you forget Prince Malcolm the Mediocre. In 1567 he passed the law forbidding dogs from chasing cats. Totally change the way Europe viewed pineapples. But you are so ignorant of world history I bet you didn't know that.

I'm worried that I'll have to learn a whole new way to play now that feature X is gone. I might actually have to think about what I'm doing when playing now.

I'll just be pissed if they don't put back in feature Y. Civ IV was broke without it, and boring. And they better make sure the AI can use it *correctly* before releasing the game.

Ah EBCDIC. Loved it. And what about The Hunt The Wumpus Quest. Don't make them like that anymore.

You know you're right...forget feature X...Civ 5 will never succeed without an integrated hunt the wumpus combat simulator. That's how archers should be implemented!

If Civ 5 doesn't run on my Commodore 64 and I can't buy it without a 1,000 page manual and cloth map I'm not buying it, end of discussion.

Too true. These Gen Y Noobs have no idea how to make a game.

I think feature X has the misfortune of being ahead of its time - it's technically to difficult to implement in a realistic way. That said, I'm sure it will make a comeback sometime - my bet is on Civilization X, of course, which, judging by the history of the franchise so far, will be out in about 2030. Imagine experiencing feature X with a direct brain-computer neuro interface, wouldn't that make much more sense?

But it will ruin feature Y and Z! I'm not buying CivX

Will unique buildings make a comback from Civ 4? I haven´t heard anything about them, but I thought the were an excellent addition.

The only reason Firaxis is implimenting feature Y is because they want to dumb this game down and don't want to alienate the stupid kid fans they got from CivRev.

Don't ruin the carnival atmosphere :p
