I am getting so fed up

I usually try clearing my continent before making wars overseas.
I usually gather enough tech to connect the other continent to my trade network (navigation/magnetism) before invading and spend the research time to puff up the stack.
If I can't ferry the armies I add defenders to the stack.

Ok, I get it - you don't read; only write. Fine have at it!!!!! I WAS NOT INVADING THE CONTINENT!!!!!!!

some people are just too stupid to tolerate.

I didn't mean to offend anyone, sorry for that.

As I understood you, you were fighting the zulu on another continent and the vikings on your own- so I thought you were invading the zulu while fighting the vikings in the same time.

Those lines regarding the invasion stack were regarding that failed invasion of india mentioned separatly.

perhaps you didn't read all that I had to say. This was a secondary continent where I had some cities. It was the Zulu main continent where they have all their resources to hand and I don't have any strategic resources. I had my hands full on my continent with Vikes and Portugal. I was about to declare on Henry as I had 3 armies to hand. Armies that cannot travel to my other holdings in a caravel.

And as a matter of fact the first skirmish was against a reg Impi.
You don't know about my incredible  rng luck. I once lost an entire invasion force against Gandhi in a Succession Game. I tried to tell the team that they should not have me start that fight but they wouldn't listen.

 Which game?

I'm not trying to be mean, but I find this line incredibly funny. I can just imagine your team hiding behind you, pushing you forward. "Yeah Darski, go teach that bully a lesson".:lol:

And if it was one of Rodent's games, I can see a whole buncha old warhorses doing the pushing.

I wonder what ever happened to Rodent. Last I talked to him he was studying like mad for what seemed to be High School finals. wonder if he is still in MP? must go look.:scan:

darski, I just had an idea: if the RNG gods hate you so much, why not try outsmarting them? Play a game where you try to win without fighting a single war! That'll teach'em...!
Grab a good piece of land in the initial settling phase, do lot's of trading with the AIs (and a little gift here or there) to keep them happy, build a decently sized army to prevent sneak attacks and then go for 20K, Spaceship, UN.
I always found those games much more fun (and also more challenging) than the usual military games. It takes some imagination (especially the Spaceship victory, as usually you are missing a couple of resources...), but should be doable on warlord.
And it develops your "builder qualities" and "trader qualities" and probably raises your game to another level.
