I Fancy trying a zwk PBEM game.

Well, the man's got finals. Seems like everyone does about now; I'm sure in a week or so all of em will get going.

That's fine. I just thought he said he had finished them already.

Ok, pap's left permanently in virtually every game I've seen him in, so let's just get a new axis player and get this going. Perhaps Tonyuk would be willing to take both Axis civ's and make them one coherent entity?

The other option is to have Tim play the Minor Axis and have an AI Minor Allies, or have the Allied player do two civs. The AI player shouldn't be much of a problem, since the Minor Allies (unless the Axis blunder and blunder) almost certainly won't last very long anyhow, and Tim would get a more fulfilling game out of another civ.

There are many possibilities, so let's get this dealt with.

I've got no problem with TonyUK taking both Axis (if he's still around). I don't have a problem staying with the minor allies. I'd like to see what I can accomplish with them in my short time in the game.

I'm going to stand down from the game. I't doesn't seem to be moving as quickly as I'd hoped. My password for the minor axis is tonylcfc. Have fun all, maybe i'll give it another shot when I have more time as well.

But we were just talking about having you take both of the Axis civs, and then this would get moving after all... aw, damn.

I'd take them but then someone needs to do the Soviets...

If anyone is still reading this, our Axis player went AWOL and the minor axis has apparently also left us.

I guess that means we need 2 more players to pick up the Axis and Minor Axis civs. We could even have one player take over both if necessary. Please reply if you're interested in playing.

Alternatively, Darius has offered to give control of the soviets up and take the two axis civs. Maybe Ohwell wants the soviets in, what would this be, his 5th game? Although this should be a last resort since knowing the opening Soviet moves could be considered an advantage for the axis.

Phew, that'll do it then. I wasn't too keen on doing the Axis because I didn't want to the same civ in more than one PBEM, but every game will inevitably be different.

The only issue I need resolved before I do the turn is the current war with the Russians. As the new leader of the Axis, I would be willing to abide by the treaty of Warsaw with the exceptions of Danzig and Katowice, as I need at least a one-city-thick buffer before Berlin. If you agree to this we can have peace to the east as I would have had in the first place. I'm glad to fill in, but I can't help but hope that I don't have to contend with my predecessor's blunder.

Good. Now I just need to wait for Pap's response to my email for his password. Although he's left his PBEM's, I've seen him online here and there, so he should respond soon. If not, I guess we could have Henrik remove the passwords in about the third time he's had to in a week around here.

Also, here's a new order since there's been three dropouts since the last one was written:

Axis: Darius
Independents: Willemvanoranje
Neutrals: A.I.
Allies: Sas
Minor Axis: Darius
Soviets: Duke of Marlbrough
Minor Allies: TimTheEnchanter

Darius, I´ll gladly take the minor axis if you want me too.
I wanted to become somewhat more engaged into PBEM´s, and I guess that´s the gib chance...

Hmm, now this changes the whole situation. Duke, since you said that you wouldn't want to do both Axis civs, would you be willing to do one? I'd get to keep the Soviets, and we'd have two Axis players. I'll wait for a response before I post my turn.

I am doing this at the suggestion of the Soviets who I am led to believe have also informed the Axis that this might happen:

Based on the change in leadership of the Axis Powers and of the USSR, I am posting a new version of my save file from week six which supercedes the one posted previously. This should not be an issue since nobody has actually taken a turn since it was posted. I just took the file as it was before and moved a few workers around in a couple cities and such.

Hopefully we can get moving again soon.

By the way, since I went last, does Henrik need my password in order to work his magic on the file? Either way, do we have a key master I can give my password to?

Duke, I realize you said to wait on my turn in a PM, so when should I go? Was it the new minor allied turn what we were waiting for?

As far as I know, Kobayashi is always willing to be a keymaster, as am I. But, since I'm playing in this game, that leaves Koby. ;)

I sent my password to Kobayashi, not that I plan on leaving anytime soon, but just in case.
