The part about the socks is true. The rest I made up.

I wrote that before I realised how well Vaiar had played his turns and that our game is probably going to be over in the next six turns. The intention being of inviting you to join our squad to bring the numbers back up to 4, since you seemed to be feeling lonesome out here. But Vaiar has played his turns very well and you won't get a chance to play.
Anyway good luck with the GOTM and next months SGOTM if you decide to play.
