I messed up the Event-log settings!

Dear Civ-people around here,

I have a little problem. You know the messages which appear in the upper part of the game, like " Washington was flooded" or " Stalin now serves de Gaulle"? You can read those events as well in the Event-log, but my problem is concerned with the messages which appear while playing the game and which disappear after time.

I dont know how, but I deactivated them by mistake. Mabye it happened when I played with the CivConfig.ini file. I want them back!

Its pretty annoying not to know whats going on in the world. I can read the "news" in the event-log, but thats annoying to open it every turn. Maybe you can help me? it would make the game play much more enjoyable.

if you think you messed up the .ini file - then just delete or rename it - the game will regenerate a new one with the default settings when you start the game up
