Wait, what will the game actually be about?

We're gonna play to win, according to the game? Are all victory options enabled? In single player I always quit when I dominate, I'm not used to playing all the way to the boring end.

Should I be looking for a club each other on the head, happy backstabbing all-out warmongering game, or is there a chance things will evolve more peacefully?

All victory conditions are enabled.

I expect clubbing everyone on the head will be a good strategy though.

File refuses to play; gives a very brief error message but I think it's corrupted. Please re-send.

I've had saves not work first time I opened them too - but resent anyway.

Might be worth rebooting if you still can't play it - should free up some memory.

OK I've sent it to Hawklord to see if he can open it. Dunno how long it will take for his verdict though

Hawklord can open the save. Try a reboot then. Dunno what to do if you still can't open it...

EDIT: See if you can get a screengrab of the error message - press print screen and then paste with ctrl-V into paint, save as a jpg and upload here.

Have you applied a patch recently?

Or are you not on 3.19, and has an Admin password been applied recently, like since last turn?

I didn't do anything with any passwords.

A patch or dodgy mod might be the issue though. I've sent him my last turn from another PBEM see if he can open that.

Not working. Try a re-install perhaps? I think it was something like a map script I put in

Did the other save not work either?

EDIT: If you know what map script you recently installed you could probably move it temporarily... see if that works.
