For those who are interested...<br />I just learned that Peter Forsberg retired for an undecided period of time, maybe 1-2 years.

Hockey fans, what are your reactions?

Long story on the name, have a buddy who is diehard foppa fan, I like the guy plenty for what is healthy, <img src="icon12.gif" border="0"> so I threw the "l" in there one day talkin trash on him to rile up my buddy. It stuck. I think he's a great player though. We'll definitely miss him.<br />He said he is sittin out the season. I just hope he comes back. No retiring dammit! And hopefully he comes back by Christmas... I don't know... He's playin hurt, has been for a long time, but sit out a year??? ugh.

I heard he said he is sitting out this season to nurse his injuries, but has no intent fo retiring.
