ICNES II: A New Order

To the remamanets of Sardina-Piedmont
From French Empire

Nor would we want you at the wedding. Any nation who attacks another unprovokedly while its back is turned is not one which is deserving of existence. You have disturbed the peace in Italy for the last time.

The French Empire formally annexes Sardinia-Piedmont.

Signed
The Very Christian King Louis XV the Beloved of France

To: France
From: Spain

While we understand your reasons for the invasion, we cannot condone your annexation. We urge you to install a new, more complicit ruler in Sardinia-Piedmont instead.

To: France

From: Piedmont

If you speak of nations who attack unprovoked not being welcome, then I assume the Bride and Groom won't be attending either?

Stats updated, rules updated (read them, look at the Treasury section in economy), and map updated (Ottoman forts built are now there, Pune is no longer an EC). In the stats you will pleasently find the number of ECs every country has.

To: Japan
From: Siam

We do not believe you are right in your actions of needlessly killing innocent civilians. It is a disgrace to such a honerable shogunate. We will watch the situation in suspense and decide our position later.

Yeah Icmancin what happened to the stuff I spent my cash on!!

DIPLOMATIC MESSAGE FROM THE AUSTRIAN DIPLOMATIC CORPS

It is with great joy in our hearts that we announce the destruction of the depraved and liberalistic Republic of Venice, the dissilution of the Venitian government the the demobilisation of their armed forces. The Austrian Reich announced from here on in, defense, fiscal policy and all other acts of the sovereign shall be vested in the Austrian Crown for the area formally known as the Most Serene Republic of Venice. Indeed the Republic has now become the Haspburg Crown Land of Venice and thus a province of the Austrian Reich. We dismiss all claims of aggresivness as this action was only brought about after years of Venitian piracy against Austrian shipping in the Adriatic Sea

Signed,
Lord Chancellor Manfred von Risstelhoff
Her Majesty's Holy Roman Diplomatic Corps

To the Austrian Gross Reich, and the Ottoman Empire

Her Imperial Majesty recognizes all claims by the Austrian Gross Reich to lands formerly held by the Most Serene Republic of Venice. Furthermore, though Her Imperial Majesty does not understand the desire of the Ottomans and the Austrians to form a defensive alliance aimed at Mother Russia, she will ignore the insult. Her Imperial Majesty wants only for good relations with the peoples of the Austrian Gross Reich and the Ottoman Empire. Should either of these nations come to their senses in a time of need and seek the aid of the benevolent Mother Russia, She will be kind and help in any way that She can. Remember this my neighbours, just as the mother bear defends her cubs and mauls her prey, so does Mother Russia defend her allies and destroy her enemies.

Signed and Sealed, Her Imperial Majesty Czarina Catherine II the Great of the House of Romanov,
Heiress to Rome, Mother of Her Country, Guardian of the Holy Orthodox Faith, and Empress of All the Russias

To the Empire of All Russias
From the Greater Austrian Reich

Please bear in mind the reasons for this turn of events. It is only your foolishness that has caused this and only my benevolance that knowledge of your folly has not become widespread. We seek no war with you but due to recent events we have made the choice we have. The Imperial Armed Forces too can be genrous allies as you no doubt might already know, however they will not tolerate betryal no matter the intentions. We do not seek war but with this new Treaty of Belgrade we know we shall be able to keep the peace

Signed

After signing the Treaty of Belgrade, the Sultan has come to the conclusion that he will not sell the lands in Crimea to Russia. Period. This is in relation to past threats that caused the offer of the sale, and now that such threats have been balanced out we see no reason why we should sell the lands of Allah to the Czarina. And hopes that the Russians will not take to much offense in the matter.

Signed,
Selim the Third, Vice Administrator of the House of Osman and Son of the Sultan
