ICQ Registration Problems

I downloaded the thing no problem, but the registration process does not complete. I fill in all the details it requests, and then it just go's dead, and fails to connect or register.
It cites "Unknown Database Error", and there is nothing explaining that on their troubleshooting page. tsk.

do you have a previous copy of icq installed or an old account on your computer in the same icq folder? If so was in uninstalled correcty also check if you have to know how your reg files for older copies of icq, but don't do this unless you know u like reformatting your HD... 2000b is a little buggy the older 99a and before are more stable but with alot less features.

try unistalling it and doing it again, if this still does not work i can send you an older copy of icq. i had a similar problem with my computer this year.
