Idea for forum?

I forgot the name, but I have an idea for a place..you know how we have places, like Off Topic, World HIstory, Creation and Customizaiton. Yea. I was thinking you could add a screenshot thread, and people could show screenshots of their games, cool stuff, etc? cause the screenshot of teh *time* isn't enough for me...maybe people could also post what they submitted? Dunno, maybe its just me, but I like seeing pictures!

Isn't there a "Stories & Tales" Forum somewhere?

Also, if the shot is hilarious enough (say some Elvis is stalking through the landscape), post it right away in GD.

*sigh* Ahem, Civ2 - Stories and Tales, and i believe Civ 3 has their own Stories and Tales. So.....write up a story for your game and include your SS's with your story. Thats what everyone else does.

Yeah, but at least people don't post the lyrics as pictures.

And the lyrics aren't quite the load factor as the pciture threads are. And there are several picture threads in OT. Weapons of Distruction, 11 Babe threads, a couple of Hunk Threads, a funny picutres thread (five of them) in H&J, member photo threads. . . .

Thats why you write a story for your game and post SSs in the same thread with the story about your game. Simple as that, there is really no need for a stick thread, or a forum for SSs. It would be a waste of space.

On the story page, out of 45 or so topics, only 6 have attatchments, and they might not even be pics! Im not only lookin for pics of stories and such, funny stuff and intersting things...this IS a forum made for civilizaiton, even tho if it were to go off topic, we still have all those hunk and such threads. maybe someone should just start a "CIV3PIC" thread there

True, you can't definitely tell if there's SSs in a thread/forum from that "staple".
If I want to post several pics (or bigger ones), I use the file upload feature and IMG tags. Then, that "staple" wouldn't show, but I could have posted tons of pics.
Anyway, look into the SG subforum of S&T or into the GOTM forum. Usually there's lots of screenies.
Also, some posters have interesting links in their sigs.


BTW, I see you have half of a S&T thread in your sig...

It's a paperclip, Grille, which is what MS uses to denote an attachement in Outlook/Outlook Express.
