If MEIOU doesn't work, will Death and Taxes?

It is not that it does not load up, but it creates a very serious crash of my graphics card, and i have to reboot. So i would want to avoid having to face that again- cause who knows what may happen if it goes on for many times.

Is there any possibility that whereas MEIOU will cause this sinister effect, Death and Taxes, or (heaven forbid) regular Divine Wind will not?

MEIOU doesn't work for Divine Wind, the latest D&T does

Did you try using the vanilla (well, Divine Wind's graphics) graphics available through one of the buttons in the launcher for MEIOU? I don't know what kind of graphics card you have (always remember to update the drivers!) but it has been working fine for me with the MEIOU map.
