8. Taíno
9. Finland

1. Armenia

9. Vietnam

Bonus round: Ashanti

If we consider the leak to be true:

- Polinesia. We definitely need more sea-oriented civs. The fact that this is one of the few major civs from the Oceania region also helps its cause!

- Indonesia. Rich cultural tradition of religious syncretism, island colonization, ocean trade... this civ can go in many awesome angles!

- Mali. Come on guys, Mali has an incredibly awesome history, and Kansa Musa is one hell of a personality (I really do hope that he trows you money the first time that he meets you!)

- Ashanti. Do we need more African civs? Hell yes we do! And this incrediby cosmopolitan, technological civ needs more love and recognition!

-Etiopia. One of the oldest nations of the Earth and one of the most unique African nations due to their Christian heritage, Etiopia would be a great adition to our African trifecta!

- Vietnam. This is another civilization with an extensive history, a neglected world area (S-E Asia) and with one of the most kickass female leaders to boot (Trung sisters!)

- Khmer. Builders of the biggest pre-industrial city that ever existed, recent archeological findings proved that their empire was even bigger than previously thought.

- Incans. The most urban and politically savvy of the South American civs, Incans were masterful engineers and empire builders. It is a shame that they are not included in the base game.

- Mapuche. Why should "native american" always mean "native american" civilization? The Mapuche, unlike, say, the Sioux or the Soshone did stand the test of time and actually resisted the European colonization efforts. Most baddass "native american" civ truthly deserves a spot!
