Mine would be: PHI and PRO - just like sitting bull

ok PHI and EXP, I mean no one wants to be PRO

EDIT: OH YES, post your favorite civic as well...for me it's State Property all the way

I think PHI would probably be the most popular traits among civ4 players.

AGG would also be a popular one with so many wanna be alpha males on internet...

CHA is another one I would anticipate to be popular as well

Creative and Protective, most likely. I'm not going to pretend I'm deep. :p

My traits would be Hungry and Lazy.
Hungry: City tiles get 1 less food, but when your army enters their territory, it not only blocks the tile its on, it blocks the food from all surrounding tiles. 1/2 price granaries and grocers. +1 happiness from grocers.
Lazy: -1 hammers from mines, workers take 25% more turns, and slave whips only yield 80% of normal hammers. But only 80% of the normal food is required for pop growth (not burning that food energy), and slave whip unhappiness lasts for only half the normal time, because the citizens are too lazy to do anything about it. +1 happiness from Musicals, Singles and Movies.... maybe just singles and movies. Who wants to walk all the way to the theater?

UU: Armchair warrior. Replaces warrior. Free "Great" General attached to every warrior, starts with 20 "xp" from all of its "studying." Cannot be upgraded. -50% penalty when attacking. If 10 Armchair warriors exist in your civilization, or if 3 or more Armchair warriors are ever assembled on one tile, all units are deleted, civilization goes into anarchy for 3 turns. Otherwise same as regular warrior.
UB: Microwave Factory. Replaces factory. Factory only available at Satellites. Produces microwaves. City tiles get +1 food, and cities get +3 happiness, -1 health in addition to normal factory effects. Engineer slots are eliminated from normal factory.

Philosophical and Imperialistic, i.e. I have a rather unusual world view and try my best to persuade everyone else to adopt it too. Creative would also fit.
Definitively not Spiritual or Financial.
My leader theme would either be the Imperial March, the theme song of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic or the Internationale.
No favorite religion apart from Judaism maybe, favorite civic would be one of Representation, Universal Suffrage, Free Speech, Emancipation, State Property or Free Religion.
As AI I wouldn't mind religion much but would want everyone to adopt my fav civic. I'd have a medium to high unit build rate and wouldn't declare at pleased.

There are 11 Traits. You forgot Charismatic! :)
Lets try some process of elimination.
Traits that I know are not me: AGG, EXP, IMP, IND (unfortunately), ORG (unfortunately), PHI, PRO.
That leaves CHA, CRE, FIN, SPI.
Probably CHA/CRE. Possibly CHA/FIN. I'm always the diplomat at work and in games. Well, except for Always War games.

ORG/PHI. I'm anal retentive, and I have a PhD.

I like this! Probably because I can relate to it so well. :)

Hmnn, isn't SCI a trait as well, or is that just for mods?

SPI and PHI. I'm not skilled whatsoever with military other than just knowing the basics; I would want my nation to be revered for its culture.

Imperialist and Philosophical. I'd basically be an enlightened despot exporting my ideals, French Revolution-style.

Fashionable/Disorganized, that's me, but in Civ terms I suppose FIN/CRE or AGG/CRE would describe me. I'm good with money, and I'm fairly creative.

On the other hand, other women have told me that I can be quite aggressive at times.

Forgetful- Whenever I'm the first to build the Pyramids or research a particular tech, I forget to change civics until somebody else does.

Utopian- I believe that BTS is still the greatest game EVER. I have turned my back on the "advancements" of Civ V and therefore will not return to it.

Using the game traits, I would be alternately financial and aggressive.

Nice thread! I just can't choose because I don't know what some of the traits means (I'm not english). For example; what kind of person is expansive? Who would be Imperialistic in RL? Industrious sounds weird to me too. After someone has explained these traits to me I'll join the game :)!

@Lennier: Hehehe ! I just meant that what are the Civ 4 traits like EXP like in real life, not in the game. Well, the adjectives which are weird to me are not needed then :). I'd be PRO/ORG then. Protective is good to me because I do not be with any bad guys in school life for stay away from possible problems. Also it fits with my hobbies since I practice self-defense a.k.a. martial arts. I am organized too. I hate when some things are not in right order... Its annoying. I also am really strickt with my school tests. I read to them really much. I think that its more like Organized than Philosophical action. So I'd be PRO/ORG. Is there some leader with the traits in the game too?

Financial and Spiritual...I'm good at producing income from unusaul sources and I am good at pitching major changes in lifestyle.

Well, when you put it that way....

I am Expansive. I wear a larger belt than when I first started playing civ.

I used to be Industrious, working 20 hours/day in my family's business. I advise against that.

  !! That was good one :) ! Funny post, but so true to many of you who have been playing civ like +10 years :)!

Heck no. ORG and either IMP or EXP for me all the way. Probably IMP, I'd be a little more loyal to my country's own interests than most.

Every leader has some form of charisma, but only some make it the central element of their power/popularity. That style doesn't fit my practicality and goal focus whatsoever. Agg wouldn't work (it's not my primary approach) and for me philosophical exercises are fun now and then but I don't live everyday life with them as a focus. I'm very much a process/focus guy.

Let's say ORG/IMP.

Favorite civic: Free Market...and unlike every nation in the world I can think of, it would actually be a free market.
