Ignored CD

I recently purchased a copy of the complete edition of Civ 4. When I put the disk in my computer, nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. I tried to explore the CD under My Computer, but when the computer opened the drive, there was nothing. My computer is basically refusing to acknowledge the disk at all. Any suggestions? Ps, I know for a fact my drive works perfectly, as I have tested it on other disks, but when I put the Civ 4 disk in another computer, it worked okay.

so the disc reads fine on another machine?
do you have admin rights on the one you are trying this?
does this occur with any other discs?
also the obvious question: is this a cd or a dvd drive?

thanks for the welcome, yes it read fine on my other computer, I do have admin rights, this computer reads Blizzard game's cds just fine, and it is a cd drive. On the computer it worked on, it was in the dvd drive.

I think Complete is on a DVD not a CD.

complete is definitely a dvd - which would explain why your cd drive doesn't read it.
