I am playing old DOS game from maybe the 80s. And I don't have my speakers on, yet music is playing?!

The game might be using the system speaker. You know, the one that makes all those 8-bit beeps? I think the only way to turn that off is if either your motherboard has an option, or to physically disconnect it (unplug it basically)

Yeah, its one of those. Kind of annoying when you cant soft-force them off.
