T60~70 SV is made possible again in the current patch, due to the pantheon bug. Maybe even T40~50.

I'm waiting for someone to post that record. Choose Macedon, get a relic from tribal villages, and choose 10,000 pantheons.

Why Macedon? Isn't it easier to reroll untill you get an all desert start with Mali and wait X turns?

I don't mind abusing the game in all sorts of ways but this one is even too far for me.
I guess if you were going to do it you might as well put a goody hut on every tile as well.

I'm quite sure someone actually did that (wasn't it the Spiffing Brit?) on Youtube recently. Don't really understand why people get excited over a gamebreaking exploit though. It's like being excited that "you can win chess in 3 turns, just remove all the opponents pieces but the king!"...

What's the pantheon bug?

If you press the escape button at the same time as clicking 'Found Pantheon' the game will allow you to select another pantheon. This means infinite settlers/builders if you want, or you can get 999999999 faith adjacency from the desert/tundra holy sites, lots of silly things, if you can be bothered to sit there and keep spamming 'click/escape'...

I'm waiting for regenerative medicine to develop so far that we can all be 20 year old boys & girls for 500 years :mischief:

Maybe you could get 10 pantheons and pass the save on to someone who would get 10 more and so on, until you got hundreds of pantheons on a single save to share.

Really? Wow I learned something new!
Oh yeah, he means that macedon has that unique building that gives them a bit of science whenever a unit is made in that city, so you can unlock a tech, then buy a unit to get more science, then unlock another tech in the same turn, and then buy another unit to do the same thing again.

When you have Science overflow, you may have enough Science to unlock a bunch of technologies but you have to wait 1 turn to unlock 1 technology. Plus: unlocking a Eureka may remove your overflow Science.

Fortunately, Macedon have the Basilikoi Paides, that give 25% of the cost in Science, allowing to have more than 1 technology per turn, by generating instantly Science as long you have the Gold / Faith. With the new Pantheon exploit, you can have a lot of Food, Production, Culture, Faith, but not Gold / Science.
So, I guess you need to rush to Monarchy and get the Grand Master Chapel, and then use all your faith in land unit to create Science?

I guess, you could go for 25% Production toward ancient/classical units, if the bonus stack, and if so: how? 100 times the 25% Pantheon is 1 + 1000 × 0.25% (×26) or (1 + 0.25)^100 (×~4 909 093 465)?

Two things: I did not realize the Basilikoi Palisades provides the options of multiple technologies on the same turn.
Two things: You said that unlocking a Eureka removes your overflow Science. I did not know this either. So Eurekas for cheap technologies can sometimes be a net loss in total science if your overflow was high.

The problem with the exploit is that it cost you faith for each click, getting you minus faith. So with 10 000 pantheons, you will hardly have enough faith to buy a scout before T300 :nuke:
